Bad Florida drivers -> Tampa/St. Pete Area

Where the fuck did you learn your sweet driving skills guy?

Yes, I am that guy that is yelling at you inside my car where no one can hear but me..

I have been living here in the Tampa area going on four years and still can't wrap my head around the massive amount of shit drivers in this state. I have lived on the east coast (South Carolina), the new England area (Vermont), the mid-west (ChicagoIL, HoustonTx) and in the rockies (Colorado) and Florida has by far the most amount of crap drivers out there.

I'm sure some will read this and pass this off as living in a vacation state surrounded by out-of-towners that don't know where they are or where they are going and I might have agreed up untill about 6 months ago when I got a new job that requires me to drive 70 miles each way during peak traffic times. I drive the same route 5 days a week, I see you, I know you drive the same route, everyday, when will you learn?

I am writting these words for two reasons:

Turn your signal on much? I used to bitch and moan about people not using their turn signals, how hard is it really? But after months of observation I can understand why some people don't; because people are assholes and don't work with you when you are trying to advise the public that you fucking need to get over to take an exit! In most other driving areas, you put your signal on, someone moves out of the way, let you in, you wave saying thanks. But here in the greater Tampa area when you put that signal on - it's like your giving them an early warning system to be a dickhead -they speed up, close the gap, slow down, whatever needs to be done from stopping you from getting where you need to be.

WTF?

That is one of the biggest reasons I have stopped using the signal most of the time. I have watched people turn on their signal to get over to take an exit, way before that exit, and motherfuckers do everything in their power to not let them get over, what is this a fucking game? We are in morning traffic, no one is going anywhere fast, why do this? Does it make you feel powerful that you almost caused a 20 car pileup because your cock is so small that can't let that little old lady in front of you?

H8 you! Get a life you stupid fuck!

---> interstate on ramps: the pedal on the right, people!

Interstate on ramps, they are long for a reason; so you can get up to speed to enter a highway where people driving their cars at speeds of 70-80 mph.

When you take the whole 400ft of the on-ramp to get up to your speedy excess of 35mph and all those cars behind you riding your ass like like its broke-back, you are causing a huge issue on our roads. When you enter the highway going 35mph while traffic is going 70mph you cause everyone to have to slow down to your speed to avoid hitting you. This has a ripple effect that spans across all the lanes causing a freaking traffic jam.

---> fast lane: passing lane, fast lane; whatever you want to call it..use it correctly!

Is drivers education not required in this state?

Why don't you know the basic rules of highway driving?

On any highway that has multiple lanes, the left lane is called the "passing lane" or sometimes the "fast lane" not here in the sunshine state; you dumb fucks that don't understand why everyone is riding your ass and getting pissy behind them: that lane is for "passing" or driving "fast" !!! -not for driving 10mph under the speed limit talking on your fucking cell phone!

And these stupid fucks that know your behind them trying to get past them -decide to slam on their brakes, yeah thats fucking cool; or putting your signal on like your going to get over and then just slow down never getting over (you know who you are stupid fuck in your red crapbox hatchback! I'm to one that gave you the "thumbs up" after you tried to get me to pull over to fight you and your 3 friends when I am driving alone! that was really going to happen... and good luck trying to catch up! )

---> light changes: pay attention fuckers!

I know how you guys like to waste time, stop wasting mine and go when the light turns green! WhenI sit at traffic light for 3 light changes because you are not paying attention, H8 U! Want to kill U! or these people that stop with 2-3 car lengths buffer between the car ahead... WTF? You wonder why there is traffic all the fucking time? Tighten that shit up, if you did we might get more that 2 fucking cars through that light before turn red again.

I know that some local drivers in the Tampa/St. Pete area will stumble across these words and get pissed that I am bashing them, so be it, maybe you will wise up and pay attention out there so we all can get to where we are going sooner and safer..
